Purpose of the position
- Accounting auditing and internal control.
Main activities and responsibilities
- Closely work with the accounting team and implement processes ensuring the correct and rigorous accounting treatment of operations in compliance with BE GAAP and legal requirements
- Reviews accounting records to ensure the correct cost and revenue allocation with accurate analytical details
- Supervise the month-end close and year-end close processes including Annual Accounts and Audit
- Prepare the monthly financial reporting for Shareholders and Management
- Implement and maintain strong internal controls
- Support the Head of Business Control in
- Monitoring the performance of the company by business unit, by aircraft, by client, etc.
- Participating in performance reviews with the head of departments
- Participating in the budgeting and forecasting processes
- Preparing the cash forecast
- Preparing timely KPIs and ad hoc analysis
- Preparing investment appraisals (CapEx)

Requirements and qualifications
- University degree in Business Economics or Finance.
- Strong financial background combined with operational experience.
- Good knowledge of accounting law and principles.
- Minimum 3 years’ experience in Audit or Financial Control.
- Thorough understanding of Finance processes and activities.
- Excellent communication skills in English (other EU language are advantages).
- Ability to manage multiple assignments.
- Ability to prioritise and be proactive.
- Ability to work to tight deadlines, stress resistant.
- Analytical skills, creative thinking, problem solving and flexibility.
